Hazelnut / filbert question

About 15 years ago I was given 2 small 'bushes' by the father of a friend and was told they were crosses between filberts and hazel nuts. He said that these plants were grown by him from seed (he had 3-4 large bushes in his yard that looked like mine does now), that he occasionally got nuts from his bushes, that I needed two for cross polination. Well, one bush died right away, but one has grown to about 15 feet tall. The large bush leaves look like pictures of hazel nut leaves I found on line, and it gets long 'catkins' or male flowers in late summer/fall that hang on thru the winter.
My friend's father now has dementia and is unable to help me with more info. I figured I should ask here for advice if I ever want to get any nuts from this bush. What should I plant as a pollinator or co-producer with this?
