I saw a prunus Mume with a rich, deep red color. I'd like to find a cultivar that is similar in color, and I prefer single rather than doubled blooms. 'Peggy Clarke' seems to be the one I find most often in nurseries, but not all of them seem to have the rich color and I want to explore all my options. Does anyone here have a suggestion as to which cultivar would have a rich, darker hue and single blossoms? Thanks for reading!
