Normal. Left to its own, it makes a very flat tree with branches coming off at weird angles.

ps: BTW.. i tripped over a couple of mine this morning.. seems like it takes.. until the trunk is about as thick as a pencil ... for the affect to disappear ... so probably by the third year ...

double BTW .... rip it out of the ground.. and move it where ever you want.. thats what i do.. when i want one somewhere else.. they are the least of the foo .. as in foo foo ...
