| I have this little apple tree and the bottom leaf are find but the top leaf are weird looking this always happens to my bell peppers plant to i live in puerto rico the apple tree is not sitting in direct sun light so i know its not heat strees it looks like a Disease.Ive searched every were and found nothing on these this is what always kills my bell pepper plant their in good soil to.their is no worms inside the leaves either.ps sorry for the miss spells. |

| Whenever I see distorted growth like that, I think of (and inspect for) aphids, spider mites, thrips, and eriophid mites. You'll need to closely examine the underside of the leaves....these critters build up little communities under there, distorting the leaves. Herbicide damage can resemble that, also. |

| i brought it indoors to take the picture,under leaves are clean no spider mite nothing.i had looked at this disease call tabacco something and it looked like it.a while ago i had some bell pepper plants in direct sun light and the leaves were just like this,i know it the same thing going on here |

| Tobacco mosaic virus will damage plants in the same family as tobacco like peppers, tomatoes and potatoes. It won't damage apples. I agree that it looks like aphid damage. I probably wouldn't worry about it now since the growing season is almost done. Clean up the leaves after they fall so that problems are less likely to occur next spring from overwintering pests. If possible, get it planted in its permanent spot this fall (soon) so that it isn't overwintering in the pot. Stress tends to make plants more susceptible to insects and diseases.
