| I successfully rooted a clipping from a Southern Catalpa tree. It is now about 3' tall. The parent tree is mature and flowers every year. My question is: Will this clone flower next spring since it is technically the same tree as the mature parent or does it still have to go through the process as if it were a new tree?
Thanks in advance. |

| Most mature clones have to put out some good growth before they will flower, so it usually takes around 2 to 5 years until you see blooms (which is much quicker than seed grown trees). |
