Hi Hugh and welcome to the Trees Forum. Are you posting from Ghana? If so,, tell us a little about where your plant is growing, is it frost-free?
Does it make cones? Can you show a pic of the whole plant? Is this a common plant in your are?

and if you fail here.. try the conifer forum ... and add the location of the plant.. a focused pic of the leaves.. and a cone if you can find one ...
