We got some Aussie willow trees. A friend cut a branch of hers, stuck it in water, rooted it. Now we've got some nice Willow trees. Are there any other kinds of trees, besides willows that we can do these with?

yeah, willow and poplar are the main ones with minimal care. But technically, a vast amount of different species of trees can be grown from cuttings with special requirements, such as misting and rooting hormones. I planted some wingnut cuttings this spring without any special care except frequent watering, and some are 6ft tall this fall. So that may be another easy one, though probably not hardy that far north. I think sycamore might work alright also. Probably some others, too that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

Though I forgot to mention, willows are the easiest, and of the 20 or so different willows I have, your specific hybrid willow is the easiest, so anything else you will try, probably will not have as great of results.
