| [27 second video]
I planted this row of small Italian Cypress a year or so back, and I just noticed that it looks like one of them got backed into by vehicle. Can expect this little tree to survive, and just as important, not just survive, but come back with respect to filling-in? It was very full before... Thank you. |

| I don't think cypress will fill in. It should outgrow the area eventually, but it will not likely fill it back in. Most of my experience with Ariz. Cypress. Think you will see the other parts of the tree get bigger and fuller and the bare spot will be less noticeable. Whether that is sufficient is a matter of your taste. |

| scotjute, thank you. I've been reading, and it seems that if there are no branches, which now there are not in that area, they will not re-grow, so you seem to be correct. I bet you are also correct in that over time, this would be less noticeable as the other branches get longer... I will look for a replacement tree. That said, I will give this a guy a chance to stand alone somewhere else on the land, just to see how he does... |

| Wow, I think I just found-out that it wasn't a car that hit the Italian Cypress, but a deer! I thought these were "deer resistant", but after a quick search, that seems to not always be the case. Damn. |
