| I am looking for someone growing this plant. It is one of 2 native Barberry growing in US. I found it at 2 nurseries but Kruckerberg does not ship and the other only has one clone and I would like to get fruit. Not sure if this is the right forum but seemed to be the best fit to me.

| The species is very rare in the trade. I looked myself for many months and gave up. The only way is to collect seeds from wild populations and grow them yourself. |

| Sadly, it's the same way with many native plants. I was lucky to get 3 Fraser magnolias (Magnolia fraseri) - Very uncommon in nursery trade! |

| Well thats what I thought. The problem is that even native stands are difficult to find. KUDOS to you jimbobfeeny for getting magnolia fraseri. I am still going to try to find someone in Washington state that might be able to ship the ones I found there to me. |
