Berberis canadensis

I am looking for someone growing this plant. It is one of 2 native Barberry growing in US. I found it at 2 nurseries but Kruckerberg does not ship and the other only has one clone and I would like to get fruit. Not sure if this is the right forum but seemed to be the best fit to me.

The species is very rare in the trade. I looked myself for many months and gave up. The only way is to collect seeds from wild populations and grow them yourself.

Sadly, it's the same way with many native plants. I was lucky to get 3 Fraser magnolias (Magnolia fraseri) - Very uncommon in nursery trade!

Well thats what I thought. The problem is that even native stands are difficult to find. KUDOS to you jimbobfeeny for getting magnolia fraseri. I am still going to try to find someone in Washington state that might be able to ship the ones I found there to me.
