| For those that live in the areas with extreme drought this year, a disease by the Hypoxylon Canker is likely to be taking it's toll over the next few years. Linked below is an article from a Arkansas Retired Extension Horticulturist. | I am eager to say the least to see how the vegetation/forests recover next year. Would be nice to return to a more evenly distributed moist, or heck, even average year with near average temps. What a Godsend that would be. Thanks for the link. I will be on the lookout on my drives/hikes over here. John |
