Who wanted to know an oak that doesn't seed drop

I remember that Holm oaks that are available as grafted cultivars, are not fertile, and I think that means no acorns. Someone who posted not long ago wanted no acorns dropping.

RE: Who wanted to know an oak that doesn't seed drop

I love the forums at GardenWeb! Recently purchased a couple (okay, a trio) of Summer Red Maples to shade the westside of a house. They'll mature to a height of between 40 and 60 feet, not quite tall enough to shade the roof. I didn't go with oaks because.....I HATE SQUIRRELS. Was wondering if there were an oak that didn't drop acorns. Thanks!
