Vlad, them things are pretty invasive here. They pop up all along the highways. I understand why people plant them for them late summer flowers, but thanks to the invasive issue the same folks should not complain if their neighbor starts a Kudzu farm.

So, if you find out some ingrediant in your soil mix killed them let me know. If it is a natural thing that doesn't kill everything else we will use it!

Moisture issues in the new potting medium are more likely to be the problem than transplant shock (depending on the process you used to transplant them, of course).

Seedlings dieing when transplant is a bad thing. Albizia julibrissin (I'm guessing that's what you really have) seedlings dieing when transplanted may be a little less of a bad thing.
