| Hi folks,
How is everyone? :) My wife wants a hedge. Today, we went to a nursery and a gardener suggested that we should plant Hicks Yew. They currently have it in 3g pots. He can sell it to me for $12 per 3g pot. How long will we have to wait before it can become a good hedge like at 6ft tall high? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Neil |

| Less than a foot per year is likely. After establishment, not likely to come out of the gate running. But slow hedges like box, holly and yew are of better quality than fast ones like privet. If you just can't wait you will have to put in a fence or buy large specimens. |

| We can wait :) Glad we made the right choice. Now, I just need to go back to my drawing board and figure out where to plant them. Thanks a lot bboy! |
