I dont think so. It seems to have been planted that way. It is in a small spot next to a parking space so i doubt they would have planted a big one there.
All the trunks come from the ground and there were several more trunks or suckers that were cut off. So only the 4 big trunks are there. There did not appear to be any grafted spots but all the trunks are bumpy instead of smooth.

It is a clump of the species that has been limbed up. All 4 trunks are likely the same tree. I have a 10-12 trunk example in my woods. Nothing special.
