Tree Identification please

Can someone please confirm the type of tree this is. I believe it to be from what I can find to be a narrowleafed Cottonwood but everything says that it should not be growing in my neck of the woods.

Looks like a type of Oak. Perhaps willow oak perhaps (Quercus phellos).

Looks fairly Oak like....I might suggest Q. laurifolia. Leaf looks too wide to be Q. phellos.

It looks too wide to be Quercus phellos. Perhaps a hybrid? Or what about Quercus imbricaria? AKA Shingle Oak. I think my best guess would be Quercus hemisphaerica aka. Laurel Oak.

I'm guessing Q. imbricaria but as Ken said knowing where the tree is might make a difference.
