Please help idetify this tree

I have a small evergreen in my font yard. It grows out by itself (currently is about 1.5 feet tall). I don't have other similar trees nearby. I am thinking of relocate it to another appropriate place. However, I don't know the identity of it and I don't know the size it will be. Can anyone help me identify this tree.

I took two pictures of the tree. Please follow the link below to see the pictures. In the 2nd picture, the tree is the upright small tree in the middle.

Thanks.

Looks like a juniper, but hard to tell for certain as the pics are rather blurred.

Probability would suggest Eastern Juniper Juniperus virginiana, which is native in your area and its seeds widely spread by birds.

I saw one fairly close picture of a juniper foliage spray. I could almost smell it.

Thanks all for your replies. The tree is upright. The needles are pointy and I felt the pain when I touched them with back of my hand.
