Hello everyone,
I have a number of flowering ornamental trees in my yard that I planted some 10 years ago now. They are all healthy and doing well except the prunus elvins which for the past four years has been gradually not blooming or developing leaves on the lower branches. A few of these branches are dead but most are still bendy and green on the inside.
Each spring the amount of blossoming branches has been reducing, until this year when it bloomed mostly on the top branches only and now has not developed leaves at all except for a few right on the tips. The leaves buds are all dead. The branches, though seems still to be alive.
Can I treat or save this tree? Does anyone know what's happening to it?
Thank you,
Candice
