would like quercus fusiformis seed

I have one of these trees already, but would like a few acorns so I can try for another tree or 2 in another area. I've tried in the Oklahoma forum already, but thought I may get more responses here. I will pay postage, I have nothing to trade, I found someone to take my extra seed already, thanks. Hoping for a zone 6 source but will take what I can!

poaky1,

Send me a PM with your address and I'll send you some. The acorns will be from a cultivated trees where I work near downtown Dallas. Any wild seed is long gone and dried up due to the drought we are having.

I tried to access a way to send this message to just you but there is no email listed on your page so my address is 119 Vail lane Smock, Pa 15480. I can reimburse you if you give a return address. I will be happy with 5 or 6 or there-abouts. Thank you very much!

I just recieved the acorns Dricha, thanks, you should get postage money soon. Those from Oklahoma look more like Virginiana acorns only they have the lines on them. Yours are more Fusiform in shape. Maybe the Oklahoma ones are a hybrid? Or the shape can vary. I have them all marked so I know what is what. The cat better quit using the mulch as a litterbox and moving everything! I will take pix when they pop up. poaky1
