Melia tree (I think) with unusual bark

The fruits and foliage (of the lower shoots) strongly suggests a Melia azedarach. However I can't find pictures of any with bark that is remotely this showy. Any thoughts? Just a luck of the draw better form, is is another Melia species known for such bark? Or is it something completely different?

Result of circumstances, and not genetics. Have seen same condition multiple times on various other species.
