Autumn Flame is about the smallest Acer rubrum that I know. Depending upon where you are located and planting site conditions, perhaps one of the other species would be more suitable. Chalk Maple Acer leucoderme is a personal favorite and is much smaller than Red Maple.

What is it you are desiring? Fall color on a smaller stature? Or do you really like A. rubrum, just looking for smaller sizes?

If the latter, not too much available, although there is a degree of variance in shade of color.

If in the former, there are several choices. Stay tuned for alternatives.

i am looking for small stature and fall color :)

That makes it easy.

Among the choices:

Pyrus Korean Sun. I fear a direly undervalued tree for fall color. It nearly glows.
Cotinus obovatus. I grew these in a nursery row once, and the color was so stunning en masse that you nearly had to wear sunglasses.
Acer griseum. Perhaps one of the more tempramental choices for MN, but if you know what your particular area can accomodate, the reward is perhaps some of the most brilliant red color grown, combined with bark that has to be seen to be believed.
Acer triflorum. Only knock is variable fall color from seed. You might get a goodie, or you might get a dud. All in all, a decent tree, but if space for numbers is limited, there are choices that offer greater interest.
Acer pseudosieboldianum. One of my personal favorites, if you really twist my arm and offer bribes of baked goods.

And if you can't grow anything else, there's always Rhus typhina and Prunus virginiana.

OP profiles says Germany. We have no ideal if this is accurate, nor anything else about climate and soil conditions or size dimensions. Until and unless there is more information from the original poster, this is all futile to advise the original poster.
