| Can you tell the actual color of a dogwood tree by it's buds? I'm eager to wait and just want to know which color. |

| there are dogwood trees ... and there are shrubs called dogwood ... the tree.. will have flowers of differing color.. and perhaps as they expand in spring.. you should be able to see a pinkish tinge.. as compared to a white bud ... but that will be only a week or two ahead of bloom ... whereas the shrub.. should be showing its branch color right now ... do you have a latin name on your plant???? .. so we might start by figuring out which plant you have?? ken |
