I'm thinking about putting in a 1" closed system (loop), about 200" per side (square). Water well goes in at bottom, and a sprinklers get turned on as you go around. On far side of the system, just before the pump connection, I'd like to put in a swimming pool pump, with thermostat and regulator. Maybe run at half system pressure.

We don't have many nites where temps drop down below freezing. Idea being the water moving through the pipe loop might keep it from freezing. System would come on only when temps drop to 33 degrees, going down.

Will this work?
