Nursery looking for new impact heads.

We've been using the 'maxi-birds' for well over 30 years. It seems like they used to be better. I go through boxes of these things, @ $15 a head. @ over 5000 heads on our facility, going brass is totally out of the question. Has anyone seen any other commercial impact heads that are any good? (think, affordable)

Hi vg,

Try your local industry ratings of these products. The extension services would have some relevant info as well as your local State Soil and Water Conservation Board agency. I am almost sure that an agency of some kind has done testing of various heads and made that information available to the local businesses. Government dollars at work to help small businesses. The more local the better. Aloha

Done, and done. Looks like, unless I am willing to spend 45 a head, which I am NOT, I'm stuck with the maxi-birds @ 15 ea. *grumble*
