Can I use Rainsoft treated water in my garden?

I have a new Rain Soft whole home water treatment system and I'm getting ready to create a new vegetable garden. I do have one faucet that is plumbed inline with the system that allows me to have untreated water but it is on the opposite side of the home from where my garden spot will be. It's a reverse osmosis system so I know it pulls not just the chlorine's out but other elements from the water and I know that my plants would appreciate many of them. But at the same time, I would be using fertilizers and composts in the garden so wouldn't it pretty much cancel out the lack of water born elements? Should I just figure out some way to route the untreated water source around to where my garden will be?

I really need help with this delima.

Thanks.

John
