Measuring pressure from a spigot?

Does anyone know of some kind of contraption that I can screw on to my garden spigot to measure the water pressure it's pushing?

I'm trying to set up a very budget sprinkler system for my 1900 sq. ft. postage stamp of a front lawn and rather than tapping the main and buying a controller for it, I'm just going to have the thing connected to the spigot via a relatively cheap timer designed for garden hoses - up to four zones though, lol - but before I can put this cheapstake plan into action I need to verify that I can get at least 25 p.s.i. out of that spigot.

I'm looking for ideas, comments, suggestions, cites, links, whatever you got, lol...

You can get this pressure gage at any hardware store that sells irrigation its just a pressure gage, 1; Â¼"x Â½" thread x thread reducer, 1; hose to pipe adapter and you should be set you also need to check it at the end of the line because most sprinklers require at least 15 P.S.I. to operate.

That would be like Home Depot "renting" a screw driver. Doubtful.

Your systems sounds a lot more complicated than it needs to be for such a small area. Why do you need a controller? With such a small area, why not just move it around?
