Sprinkler zone not working

I have a 7 zone Rainbird system. Zone 6 stopped working suddenly. (6 & 7 cover my back yard). I manually opened 6 and the sprinkler heads activated but when I tried to manually activate 7 I heard the water at the valve and it began spewing after loosening it enough, but nothing at the sprinkler heads. No air sound, partial activation, nothing. Just dry.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please be more detailed in your description. What spewed after loosing what too much. I am guessing but I would replace Zone 7 auto valve. Aloha

When I opened the valve to zone 7 manually by turning the knob on top of the valve, water was present at the valve but there is no water going to the sprinkler heads.
I manually opened zone 6 in the same fasion and the sprinkler heads activated normally.

Replace the valve. The tiny hole that equalizes the pressure from one side to the other is clogged. Too difficult to fix in place in my opinion. Should not be difficult to do with all the YouTube videos out there if the system is not under warranty. JMHO Aloha
