PGP's or I-20's for new zones?

Hello All,

I had a bid to add 6 zones to a new back yard. I currently have I-20's in 4 existing zones. The contractor uses all Hunter products and offered both I-20's and PGP's. The PGP's are $3 less per head (30 heads). Any pro's and cons between the two? I have read the specs and they seem comparable. Just looking for user opinions. Thank you

Hi dantis,

I think the I20 is more of a commercial grade. It has a one-way valve in the irrigation head which makes the cost a little more and can cause problems. Read previous threads on these heads. Aloha

I'm a fan of the I-20 due to higher (to me) quality and the one way valve. The check valve eliminates that annoying air hissing sound at start-up, which is important when you water early in the neighborhood. But, the check valve won't have much value if you happen to have a perfectly level yard.
