new rainbird system running from pump.

Hi I have a new rainbird system. the controller is a esp-lxme. I have mod. # 5000 rotors, 1800 rotors and the smaller misters(dont know the model number). I run the 16 zones from a lake. the pump is a irrigation designed pump tha can flow up to 82gpm. each zone is design to flow between 10 and 12 gpm. However the rotors seem to have to much pressure because the rain curtin nozzles do not put out and even coverage, most of the water is a stream not a curtin of water. what options should i do.

1 run two zones at once( hydraulic hammer problems?)
2 put some sort of regulator at the pump
3 put some sort of regulator on the main line from the pump
4 turn my 5000 and 1800 rotors into individual regulators( and if so how do I do that? PRMs?)

my small misters seem to have the same problem just not as obvious( not as bad)

Thanks JIM

PS how can I check nozzle pressure
