Did you turn on the valve manually from the controller or physically turn on the valve manually at the valve?

I tried both. Yet, the backyard zone did not turn on.
Could this because of low water pressure? However, the front yard works fine.

Not likely unless the controller is broken which is a possibility. How old is the controller? Since I don't have a diagram of your system, I can only ask questions.

1. Does your system have two different sources from your house or if they are both connected from the main house feed line, do they have separate shut off valves?

2. Is their a faucet connected to the mainline that goes to the backyard. See if it has water coming from it.

What I would do is find out at what point the water stops along its route to the backyard. Try to describe how the water gets to the backyard from the street and what fixtures are along its route. At the worst remove the suspect valve and see if water can get to that point. Replace the auto valve if it is faulty. If it is still a problem check the wiring connections to the controller/valve. If that doesn't do it then replace the contoller. Hope this helped. GL. Aloha
