Sprinkler not working

Hi,

I have two Gilmour extra large coverage metal sprinlers. Link: http://www.gilmour.com/Watering_Hose_End/Sprinklers/ExtraLargeCoverage-metal.asp

One of them works fine. The other one fails to turn back after reaching one end of the route. The route the water can make is restricted by two stops. When the sprinkler hits one of the stops, it is as if it doesn't have the strength to trigger the return switch (which I can do manually by just pushing a bit).

Gilmour sen't me a replacement head but nothing changed. Is it possible that I'm doing something wrong?

sicksoul, there are only two reasons that I can think of. The first is a mechanical jam. Look for something fixed which is causing the head to stop short of the tripping point. Secondly, try getting the tripping lever on the opposite side of the tripping rings. Lift the lever out of the way and turn the sprinkler 180 degrees and then reset the trippers. I am almost certain that you have eliminated the first reason and the second fix worked for me once only.
