Pressure sprayer makes water taste rubbery is it bad for plants?

I bought a manual pressure sprayer to use for watering my seedlings and fertalizing plants, the thing long wand and varible water speeds make it perfect for watering all my seedlings but i noticed what ever it sprays has a rubbery/plasticy smell/taste im guessing from the sprayer hose and im wondering if this is harmfull to the plants at all? The sprayer is like this one:
