Hi max,

i. Check out the wiring to the solenoid for valve one, check connection to the solenoid valve one. Check the connection at the controller to the valve one solenoid.

ii. Switch valve one with valve two connection in the control and see what happens. If valve one still doesn't work go back to i. If valve two is the problem now it is the controller. If you have any spare hookup available move valve one to one of those.

iii. Switch solenoids with valve one and another valve. If the solenoid from valve one doesn't work on another valve it is the solenoid. But the solenoid from another valve that is now on valve one doesn't work replace the valve.

iv. Take two aspirin and pay an irrigation expert guy (who speaks English) to come over an do it. Good luck & Aloha

Does anyone else have any input? I was trolling around some boards and read if I open the bleeder and let the water run for a couple of minutes this might clear out some debris that is stuck in the value. I will try this tonight. Please reply if you have any ideas.
