Sprinkler not working

I have a sprinkler that is not working. I've dug down to expose the pvc and now that my system is working again, I can see some water coming out of the end but not enough to operate a sprinkler. when I stick my finger inside the end, I could feel some dirt. So I'm assuming I need to cut the pipe and replace?

Toni,

Does the sprinkler in line before this one have the same problem? If not, you need to flush the line well. This means remove the sprinkler head and turn the water on. When the water runs clean turn it off and replace the head after cleaning the head. Let me know if that works. Aloha

Thanks for responding.

All other sprinklers appear to be working okay.
