Not trying to be sarcastic here, but thats why I have a sprinkler system, for when I'm gone.

Tell a neighbor you'll be gone and show them how to cut it off if it sticks on.

Yea, I guess I'm still getting used to it.
I pretty much let it run the program while
I'm home anyways. No problems so far.

keep an eye out. It should only water just before dawn.

I do but I have someone check in while I'm gone. I have a cat so they check on the cat and too make sure there isn't a flood because of a busted sprinkler head. :-)

If you have someone check in a couple times while you're gone, I would say yes. If you can't then I wouldn't risk it but that's just me.
