In my humble opinion, no problem at all. People get water from there roofs and water plants. The dehumidify is condensed water from the air, much better than roof water. The trick is how to get it to the garden. That is why most people send it to a sump pump or dry well. Would it be easier to send the sump pump water to your garden since it is pressurized and not gravity flow like the dehumidifier water. Is this dehumidifier portable or built in? JMHO Aloha

It's distilled water, not a problem at all. Like the condensate from air conditioners.

I used to run the AC condenser line into a fountain because it was mineral-free.

There is not any harm in using the water from dehumidifiers to water plants. I also use this water to my water plants. It is distilled water so don't worry and use it frequently.
