need help with finding a timer

Being a newbie and all to drip irrigation, I recently ordered the wrong type of timer for my raised bed irrigation system.

I purchased the popular Aquauno Logica Timer but after reading the instructions I misunderstood its intended use.

In my irrigation system I have to connect my garden hose from my house across 50 feet of lawn to my garden. I cannot have the garden hose sitting on my lawn for more than a couple of hours each day. If my current irrigation system proves to be a success, next year I intend to bury plumbing from my house to my garden.

Basically I was told by dripdepot.com that what I am looking for is a countdown timer. A timer that I can turn on in the evening for 2-3 hours when I come home from work which will turn off as programmed. Prior to going to bed for the night I need to disconnect my hose from the irrigation system put it back on the hose reel attached to the side of my house near my hose bib. Otherwise my lawn will start to get striped.
