sprinkler head advice needed

I asked this in the lawn care group, and someone there referred me to this one:

I have a five circuit sprinkler system comprised of mixed types of heads.

Everything seems to be pretty good except for three of the pop up heads.

These are in a large, vase-like plastic holder, with a flat plastic top.

They pop up and a RainBird type impulse sprinkler does a good job of

watering.

My problem is they fill up with dirt frequently and then freeze up and only

water one spot. To get 'em fixed, I have to dig 'em up, cut them loose from

the feeder pipe, and take 'em in and clean 'em out.

Is there a better way to run a railroad for me here? What's the solution?

Change to a different brand/type of sprinkler head?

If so, what brand/model would be a good replacement for what I have---that wouldn't be so prone to fill up with dirt?
