Looks to me that it for a regular sprinkler system, not a drip system.

Yes these are used with normal pop up heads. If you want to use drip to irrigate here is a product that is made by Rain Bird. Here is the link http://www.rainbird.com/drip/products/emission/xeri-pops.htm

here are the parts that you will need:
1/2" drip tubing
1/4" drip tubing
1/4" connectors
u stakes to hold it down

You can use regular nozzles with these heads try to stick with the 4 van (variable arc Nozzle), 5 fixed, and 6van you will get the best results with these heads.

Hello,
I bought the rainbird drip popup sprinklers shown here: http://www.rainbird.com/drip/products/emission/xeri-pops.htm but I am having problems getting them to work. What type of connector am I suppose to use off of the 1/2" main drip line? I only have the 1 gallon per hour connectors which obviously don't send enough water to the popup sprinklers. Does anybody have any ideas to help me with this?
