Pump irrigation?

Hello,

I have a question? i have a Centrifugal pump, its 115 volts HP 1/2 8.2Amps, I'm trying to see if this is workable. i have 1 GPH flag drippers (25) per 50ft 3 of 1/2 tubing..it's has shut-off valve,filter,control valve,pressure regulator in that order the cable of the pump will go to the power converter that leads to the deep cell battery...and the hose of the pump will go to the pond. let me know if this will work

There is much that I do not know about electricity but I remember a formula:- Volts x amps. /746 = Horsepower. Whatever the hp of the pump, I'd measure the the output in gpm. and the pressure (psi). Multiply the gpm answer by 60 to get GPH. One 50' length of drippers requires 25 GPH. 3 lengths will require 75 GPH.
Also, adjust the pressure regulator to the range recommended by the manufacturer of the drip system. Excessive pressure can blow out the emitters or rupture the tubing.
