I have been thinking about doing something called a deep pipe irrigation for all of my established and newly planted trees.

I can't seem to find any answers about whether or not deep pipe irrigation is beneficial to established trees?

Deep pipe irrigation is where you put a pvc pipe, that has a bunch of holes in it, vertically into the ground near the root system ..and you water it that way.

Does anyone know if this is beneficial to established trees and if yes, where I can find the best way to put in the pipe without damaging the roots?
