Sprinker valve stays on sometimes

A Lawn Genie valve stays on after 5 or 6 times of operation. Why does it only stay on sometimes?

Hi will,

Probably because the valve doesn't get an electric pulse telling it to close. Check your wiring from the valve to the controller. Check your solenoid wiring and if you want, change your solenoid (not expense or difficult). Also remove some head in the zone and flush out the mainline. See if that takes care of the problem.
