Check out these tips for a great-looking outdoor area that needs less water
Full StoryHello everyone,
We just renovated the back yard into a 6 zone system run by the rainbird. My raised bed is in zone 6 of the system and I am trying desperately to set it to run every 2-3 days for ~20 minutes (6 inch spacing for inline drip at a rate of .5 or so) to get a nice 1 to 1.5 inches/week in the garden.
I guess the first question might be does this sound about right? but really I'm just trying to figure out from the manually how to even make this happen. I can see there is a grow-in time based option but that appears to be daily.
I can set the min time to run with a soak time (delay between) for the programmable piece, but it is weather based so I don't know how to control if it will run daily, every other day etc..
Does anyone have experience with this model and can help?
Thanks in advance,
(I still think bucket gardening was easier :-) )
