I use my drip more like conventional watering.. I know its more for a daily requirement, but I use it once or twice a week with my veggies on 1/2 gal/hr spagetti drip with 6" emitter spacing. I just run it longer then the 15 min you might with daily. With my fruit trees I have 300 degree 17g/hr micro sprayes with 7' circle. They are spaced every 6' or so and so get overlap. This year I plan to run them for roughly 12 hrs every 2 wks. I have sandy soil. I have a nice layer of wood chip mulch. I feel like most people use them more frequently, for a shorter period.
