I live in an area where I have to irrigate my vegetables. We've tried two different types of aerial sprinklers that attach to hoses, but I want a more efficient watering system that delivers the water to the plant and not the weeds. My garden is arranged in 4'x4' squares and is planted densely within the square and I'm not sure how to irrigate efficiently without watering the paths. If I used soaker hoses, I would end up watering the paths, but I remember reading somewhere that soaker hoses are better than drip irrigation for the garden (is this correct?). We are partway through installing sprinklers in the rest of the yard but I'm struggling to come up with a plan for the vegetable garden. All suggestions are welcome.
