Auto shut off in case hose bursts

I have a motion activated sprinkler to keep the deer from my vegetable garden.

Since the valve always has to be on, my concern is that the hose could break at some point, causing it to waste 1000s of gallons of water (we are on a very low GPM well with a large holding tank). I have used a good rubber hose between the valve and the sprinkler.

Is there anything that I could put between the valve and the hose that would somehow automatically shut it off. The only thing I can think of is a washing machine hose with the 'pressure sensors'.

Thank you. Alan
