Hello all!

I am designing a new irrigation system for my 27,000 sq. ft. lawn area. It will be supplied by well water which I share with my home. I am wondering if I can run my system off of the hydrant that is located in my yard or do I need to tap into the main line that runs to the house. I would like to install a back flow preventor at the hydrant and then run 1" poly lines out to my valve boxes (will need two boxes with 3 valves each)using a 2 port manifold off the hydrant. I currently have 1" 100 psi poly pipe. Will this be sufficient in running for main line to the valves? Also was thinking of running 1" throughout the whole system. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
