soaker hose thickness

Hello all. I'm designing a soaker hose installation for my perennial garden and I'm trying to decide on a hose thickness. The company I'm looking at, Mr. Drip, has three different thicknesses of soaker hose. The regular (.580) hose is rated to a maximum length of 100' per section and a total length of 600'. When it says 100' length, that is from the tubing, correct? So I could have a tube running down one side of my garden and then attach many lengths of 20'? If that's right, would getting the professional grade which has a thicker wall (.115 rather than .100) and is rated to 200'? It is supposed to be more durable and give a slower more consistent soak. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Megan
