Bib to Timer Hose Help/Suggestions

Hi All,

I have built myself a make-shift automatic sprinkler system with a four station timer. My hose bib is low to the ground so I need to run a 5 foot hose from the bib to the timer which is attached to a metal stake in the ground. The hose will be under constant pressure. I used a regular garden hose, but it started bulging under the constant pressure, and it if burst I will likely end up with water in my basement.

Anyone have a good suggestion on what kind of hose to use from the bib to the timer? Any links to them on Amazon or other sites where I can purchase them would be really helpful.

I found that some people suggest a washing machine supply hose, but they seen to all have two female ends.

Thanks so much for any help.
