Not quite sure what you are asking. Posting a drawing would help. Are you thinking of hooking up the separate sources of water to the same valve at the same time? Don't understand what you mean by hardwired. Are you installing a pump relay switch that your controller can start and stop. There are clear instructions for designing a well-pump-controller on the internet. Your controller manufacturer's web site may have the info to clear things up for you. Aloha

What I wanted to do is bypass the use of the pump relay...which I did. I ended up wiring the pump up to my breaker box so that it always had power unless the pump was turned off at the pump. The drop in pressure tells the pump when to come on and go off as it has a pressure switch on it. I needed constant power anyway as I have a hose spigot that I use in the yard and let the kids hook up to the slip and slides

Hi me and my neighbor are sharing a well that we just had dug and we are trying to figure out the best way to control the pump. We were not sure if a relay would work with both our boxes sending a signal to it without being damaged. Can you describe how you set up your pressure switch to manage the pump as I think that me be the best way for us to solve our problem? Also, did you add a pressure tank in your set up or was it not necessary? Thanks.
