Here in the Mojave Desert, we have learned we can grow most anything if we provide enough water. We've been successfully using soaker hoses for our vegetable garden. However, they are only good for about 6 months and then they become clogged with mineral deposits from the water. Replacing them every 6-12 months is getting very expensive. Is there any way to clean out the old hoses and extend their life?
